Retail & Operations Associate (Part-Time)

Position Overview

We are looking for a new part-time Retail & Operations Associate to join our team! This role can fulfill many different functions, small and large, often in the same day. It relies on dedicated, passionate and dynamic individuals to check off the daily to-do list and keep LOOSENDS running smoothly.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to...

 

Order Fulfillment: Assisting with order processing and shipping logistics, including fulfilling customer orders, product labelling, and coordinating order pickups 

 

Studio Maintenance: Assisting the operations team with implementing creative workplace systems and studio organization. Supporting the growing studio through upkeep and organization, and by maintaining a clean, functional, and welcoming environment

 

Inventory Management: Tracking and maintaining inventory to ensure accurate stock levels. You’ll also gain practical training in using e-commerce platforms

 

Retail Sales: Supporting retail store operations, including visual merchandising, customer service, designing product displays, and processing transactions using a point-of-sale system

 

Colour Analysis: Processing occasional new shipments of recycled yarn, sorting it into different colour families and unique hues

 

Event Support : Assisting with events by providing customer service and fostering community engagement. You’ll gain experience in supporting small-scale events and develop familiarity with other local brands, artists and artisans

 

Creative & Media Support: Occasional assistance with minimal content creation upon request; (ex. Taking photos of orders while packing them)

 

Requirements: 

 

• Must be based in Montréal, QC as this is an in-studio position 
• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada 
• Must be bilingual in both French and English
